It's that time again! Time to register for this year's annual Independent Time & Labor Management Association (ITLMA, formerly the NTEA) convention. The convention this year will be in sunny Orlando from May 27th - 30th.

Our annual convention is the highlight of each year. Manufacturers display their products and eagerly await your arrival, questions and suggestions. The membership meets in convention to elect officers and act upon Association business. Entertainment is plentiful for everyone, whether you come alone or bring your entire family. Convention cities and areas are always those which you would like to visit. The sharing of ideas; development of new friendships and discussing the business with someone who understands makes this a memorable event which lasts the entire year.

Great news! You set up an appointment with that prospect you have been calling for over a month. You prepare for the demo, drive an hour to his office, shake hands and then be told..."I only have 10 Minutes"

The "I only have 10 minutes" statement could be true and/or it could be being used as a protection mechanism. Your prospects want to protect themselves from salespeople and this statement is ideal for this. If they've told you they only have 10 minutes then they are not being rude when they leave the conversation in 10 minutes.

There are three options for how to respond when your prospect says "Tell me about your products and I only have 10 minutes."
